Josh is a senior corporate, finance and commercial lawyer with experience across multiple sectors and jurisdictions.

After qualifying at Travers Smith, Josh has since held in-house legal positions ranging from both start-up and scale-up business (in both the UK and the UAE) through to FTSE100 and/or multi-national corporations (Credit Suisse, Schroders and MUFG Bank in the UK and Yas Holding in UAE). 

Josh's experience includes advising on cross-border transactional and advisory matters including corporate (M&A, DD, shareholder agreements and investments), finance (general lending, CLNs, derivatives & structured products, security), commercial contracts (service agreements), as well as providing generalist in-house counsel on matters such as insurance (renewals and changes), audit (internal and external), governance and regulatory projects (such as LIBOR). Most recently, Josh has worked on many contracts with UAE government authorities and/or departments, as well as on other leading GCC projects such as NEOM.

Josh has also held senior executive roles (School Governor, NED and strategic investor positions) which allow him to understand the commercial aspects of a business and its goals. Josh has lived in the UK, Spain and the UAE, with residency and worker rights in all 3.
