Rob brings 12 years' experience to the role, having started his career at the international firm, Linklaters, following which he spent two years at the Financial Conduct Authority, before moving to Simons Muirhead Burton, where he was for the past eight years.

Rob's practice spans M&A, seed and VC funding investment and corporate governance. Rob is sector-agnostic, but he has significant experience advising on corporate deals in the real estate, tech, sport, media and fashion sectors. Rob also has experience advising on general commercial matters.

Notable clients Rob has advised include the tech billionaires Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, who co-founded Facebook (now Meta) alongside Mark Zuckerberg (as depicted in the 2010 film, The Social Network), on their acquisition of the English professional football team, Real Bedford FC, which attracted broad mainstream media coverage and saw Rob being named as Lawyer of the Week by The Times newspaper.
